But gosh darn it I love this record. I loved their first three albums (especially OK Computer) and hated their last three (especially Amnesiac). I always held out a little hope that they would someday return to form, and while it’s not as brilliant as the first three, it’s as close as we could possibly hope for. This is a great record, and I’m definitely not recommending it just because it’s the hip thing for a critic to do.
